My dog has been on Ziwipeak Venison her entire life (she just turned 7) and recently developed VERY soft stools. She has been thoroughly tested for parasites and bacteria–both negative. How can I firm up her stools (I don’t want to switch foods because she is highly allergic to most dog food ingredients).

My dog is a brace walking service animal and he was braking out with all kinds of dog food even rabbit.I had taken him to UC Davis for testing and with no answers but to test some more. I was sharing our story with a shopper and she said that another dog owner had similar problems. They switch to ZiwiPeak Venison cuisine and the dog's brake outs stopped. So we gave it a try and have been giving to my service animal ever since. People tell me when I go out that he is such a beautiful dog they have seen. Luckily, ZiwiPeak is one of the best foods you can feed your dog. The ingredients are excellent, featuring high quality meat, meat, and more meat. As an example, the first five ingredients of ZiwiPeak “Venison Cuisine” include Venison Meat, Venison Liver, Venison Lung, Venison Tripe, and Venison Heart and Kidney. This means that the bulk of the food is venison. (More often than not if you buy a venison food venison will be the first ingredient, but the rest will be lamb if it isn’t a vegetable.)Another downside is the price. Venison is expensive. According to our package, the 2.2 lb bag would last Silas, weighing in at 32 pounds, a week, and it costs (brace yourself) between $32 and $39, depending on your source. For venison, this is definitely within the range of average, which is why Silas only eats venison one week out of five. Still, if your dog doesn’t need exotic proteins, I can’t imagine that being appealing. If you do need a pure-convenience, no-refrigeration-required venison food, Ziwipeak is actually a good bit cheaper than Stella and Chewy’s Freeze Dried. Then we went on vacation. Prepared food is the easiest thing to travel with, so I grabbed all his venison foods. In a total rookie move, though, I grabbed the nearly-empty bag of Stella and Chewy’s instead of the full one, AND the bag of frozen Primal turned out to be almost empty. Fortunately the Ziwipeak was almost brand new. With a dog like Silas you do NOT do trial-by-fire with new food, but we didn’t have much choice.ZiwiPeak Daily Dog Air Dried Venison Cuisine Dry Dog Food is specifically created to meet the food cravings of their heritage. Balanced by veterinarians, ZiwiPeak Daily Dog Air Dried Venison Cuisine Dry Dog Food is a wholesome, all natural diet for daily vitality. The premium quality ranch-raised…Put simply, we take the nutritional excellence of raw dog food, raw cat food, and top it up with convenience. No need to add water, wait for rehydration or worry about getting things wrong. You can feed ZiwiPeak goodness straight from the pack.My drama prince standard poodle is ruined!! He was not feeling well and wouldn't eat his normal food (Stella and Chewy's Frozen patties) I went to Pet Food Express to buy some different foods to try to no avail. The sales girl told me to try ZiwiPeak as she'd never seen any picky dog turn it down. I brought him into the store to give him some there so that I didn't have to keep going back and forth. He normally won't take food in public either. I couldn't believe it when he ate the Ziwipeak! I bought some to mix in with his normal food. In the meantime his blood work came back that he had an infection somewhere in his body. Started on antibiotics and he's back to normal now, but has now been spoiled with the Ziwipeak mixed in.

Both he and my mini dachshund love the venison and lamb. I just wish it wasn't so pricey.
