And, we didn’t stop there. After more than 20 years of innovation, we started the “Real Food Revolution” in 2012 by reformulating our Classic and Grain Free lines of dog food with new recipes that were unsurpassed in quality, nutrition and taste. And in 2013 the revolution continued with our Purrfect Bistro menu of high-protein, grain-free wet and dry foods in a wide variety of tastes and textures for cats. In 2015, we introduced Merrick Backcountry, the ultimate canine ancestral diet, and Limited Ingredient Diets, simple recipes for dogs and cats with ingredient intolerances or food sensitivities. Today, we continue to craft new recipes to help the Best Pets Ever stay happy and healthy.

I have two Daschund’s and one is VERY picky. It took about 3 or 4 different dog foods before i stumbled upon Merrick. Previously I had tried IAMS, ProPlan, Innova, and something else but he just would not eat much. When I tried Merrick, he instantly loved it. That was almost 8 years ago and I have always been so pleased. I was not happy when they changed their formula and got rid of the actual pea and potato pieces in their food but my dog hasn’t seemed to notice. Merrick Classic Canned Dog Food | Review ..

In this Merrick dog food review, we’ll be going over why Merrick’s dog food is one of our favorite dog food brands currently on the market (and that of a large percentage of dog owners out there as well). My Merrick’s dog food review also needs to take into account that in January 2016, Sean Randall filed a class-action lawsuit with the Western Division of the Northern District of California because while Merrick pet food labels say, “Made In The USA,” they contain ingredients from other countries. The lawsuit is against:Trust plays a major role in my Merrick dog food rating, and I’m just not sure what the future holds for a pet food producer that I’ve loved in the past. While reviews of Merrick dog food are still generally good, there are a lot of consumer complaints about the change in ownership. Personally, I have a major problem with the fact that they could until they’ve used all the old labels. The fact that’s allowed under law disgusts me, so long as any changes are posted on the company website. The below NextGen Dog’s Merrick dog food review analyzes product’s ingredients and nutrition, sourcing and manufacturing, any certifications and marketing claims used.Very glad to see Merrick’s raw-infused dry food get such a great review! We switched our American Eskimo Dog to this product about 6 months ago, and his coat is thicker than its ever been! He loves the dried raw cubes, as if they are treats, only wish there were more of these per bag. They seem to be unevenly spread in the bag, with a lot near the top and very few toward the bottom of the bag. This review could go on for 30 pages, as you all know how I am when I discover a product that delights me both intellectually and nutritionally. I am one of those who ONLY does organic, and holistic, for myself and my darling dog. All I can tell you is that Clem is BONKERS over Merrick, and Merrick fulfills all of my very picky needs for a premium, top of the line, nutritious, ingredient safe, and PALATABLE food for Clem.
