Whitebridge was formed two years ago when Cloud Star, a California-based maker of natural pet foods and treats majority owned by Chicago-based private equity firm Frontenac Co., merged with Sequim, Washington-based Petropics Gourmet Whole Foods, maker of the Tiki brand of gourmet dog and cat food. Whitebridge then bought Petite Cuisine, a Los Angeles-based maker of gourmet cat food, in July last year. Whitebridge has estimated annual revenue of about $3.8 million.
I do stand corrected. The interesting thing is that the cheapest food on the market (Dog Chow) is their money maker. 🙁
