The best way to keep an eye out for bed bugs is to educate yourself as to what they look like. Penny advises people to consult a pest control expert and to visit reliable Internet sources that reference symptoms, causes, and treatment of bed bugs. If you believe that you may have an infestation, do not let the problem grow to the point where it could affect you or your dog. Make a call and arrange to have an inspector come out and see if bed bugs are the problem. “There are other insects like bat bugs that are commonly mistaken for bed bugs,” says Penny.
I have purchased IAMS dog treats forever and until now had not noticed bugs in them

Thank you Hayley for you wonderful page for healthier choices for our pets. I WORKED WITH 3 VETS AND ONE TIME I HAD PURCHASED A NEW COUCH AND MY HOUSE WAS FULL OF SAND FLEAS AND OTHER FLEAS. I ABSOLUTELY HATE THE CHEMICALS TO TREAT WITH SO I BOUGHT 20 MULE TEAM BOROX AND REALLY WENT TO TOWN ON MY CARPETS. WELL IT TOOK 3 MONTHS OF PERSISTANCE AND I FINALLY ERADICATED ALL BUGS AND MY VET WAS ALITTLE IN AMAZEMENT AS HE WAS SURE WITH MY 2 KENNELS OF SHOW DOGS I WOULD SPEND A FORTUNE ON FLEA BOMBS!
I WISH THOUGH I HAD YOUR RECIPE FOR THE DOGS AS I DID BATH THEM IN A PRODUCT CALLED ADAMS FLEA N TICK SHAMPOO.
AM THANKFUL I HAVE YOU NOW! SINCERELY,DIANA I bought a box of dog treats recently that had some bugs in it

If you have dog biscuits, check them. I dont know if that's what brought them into my house, but I started noticing these bugs everywhere in my kitchen and living room. And today I went to get my dog a biscuit and they have gone crazy in the box of treats. So if you have dog biscuits and you notice these bugs, check there. I bet thats where they are coming from. Put treats in a container.Hi it’s Finn again and today I want to talk about how aromatherapy can be an effective safe treatment for motion sickness, arthritis, infections, cuts, and the bugs that affect all dogs. One of the big complaints I receive is from dogs who are sprayed with heavy scented chemicals for relief of these issues. These chemicals can do more harm than good plus they stink. With the dog food and dog treats I bring often to my house grain weevils, small and evil bugs which move from the dog food to anything they can find.
Certainly, they come also in the people food products, spices and flour products. That can be controlled fairly easy by good cleanliness and storage in refrigerator and freezer.
But the dog food for five large dogs must be kept in the storage bins, I have dogs of different ages and that means two different kinds of food, that’s always two bags open.
I just ordered Pantry Control pheromone trap, to try if it will help. I have found, on internet, that a bay-leaf may deter these small bugs from getting into the bags or boxes if the bay leaf is place there. Any experience with it or a reason for it?
Is there anything else that could help?
It feels terribly dirty to open a box of Vasa Rye Bread out of the cabinet, even just freshly brought out of the store, and have these bugs come out of the package.
Any advice? Or do I need to go on Gluten free diet?
Thank you, any advice will be appreciated. When Jim returned, I opened up the dog treat box (eager to share a couple of treats with the dog who had been “such a good boy” on this extra-long car ride) only to discover dozens of tiny gnats and insect-looking bugs hopping in and around the treats inside the box! (These were hard dog treats in a box, not the moist & meaty kind that require a stay-fresh sealed bag.) Keep an eye on your pet when he’s outside during summer evenings. June bugs are usually active at night. If you walk your dog under streetlights, the bugs are sure to be a tempting attraction. Leash your dog and guide him away from June bugs, and don’t let your cats out at night to help limit the amount of bugs they catch and potentially ingest.i have a box of dog treats and i have been giving them to my dog. i started to notice little holes in the treats and didnt think anything of it... but then, a week later, my boyfriend opened the box to give her one and there was little brown bugs everywhere! they just crawl... they arent fleas. ...
